Wake WR Greg Dortch out for season with abdominal injury

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) Wake Forest receiver Greg Dortch will miss the rest of the season with an abdominal injury.

The school announced Dortch’s injury Sunday, saying he underwent surgery the night before.

Dortch was hurt during the best game of his brief career . The redshirt freshman set a program record with four touchdown catches, finishing with 10 receptions for 167 yards in a 42-32 victory over Louisville.

Dortch had 53 receptions for 722 yards and nine touchdowns while emerging as the top big-play threat for the Demon Deacons (5-3, 2-3 Atlantic Coast Conference).
