FBI has returned the stolen Super Bowl jersey of New England Patriots’ quarter-back Tom Brady on Thursday. This jersey was found out on Monday when the suspected thief Ortega was seen stealing it on a video. The guy has not been arrested or charged yet.

Tom Brady wore that jersey while playing that Super Bowl game for the Patriots where they won the competition by making one of the biggest comeback in the Super Bowl history. They defeated Atlanta Falcons by 34-28 on 5th of February. This Super Bowl was the fifth under Brady’s belt and was named the game’s most valuable player that day.

FBI in a statement said that it was very important for the Patriots as to how much it means to them and all football fans everywhere that the jerseys were brought back. Such was the aura of that jersey and the player that it had to be the biggest story around the game for sometime now. Brady’s Super Bowl was also stolen when he won the 49th Super Bowl.

The jerseys were tracked by few agencies including the FBI and Patriots’ own security. They were ultimately found in the possession of the credential member of an international media on Monday, as revealed by NFL.

Some of the other agencies who joined hands to solve this case were Police Department of Houston where this year’s Super Bowl took place. They joined FBI to investigate just because they didn’t wanted to be embarrassed on their own place.

The criminal hasn’t been charged or identified perfectly as of yet, so no charges for the crime but it is still good that the jersey was brought back. So many investigating agencies joining hands and finding the solution was another great example of team-work and the kind of things that cane be accomplished when people work in unison. The Patriots are happy and ready to give Brady back his jersey when returns back to New England.
