Pelicans’ DeMarcus Cousins: “Probably the best I have felt my whole career”

NBC Sports

When the New Orleans Pelicans made the trade to acquire DeMarcus Cousins from the Sacramento Kings they envisioned a dominant front-court tandem of Cousins and Anthony Davis.

It has taken some time for the two to gel, but the hope in New Orleans is that with a more rounded roster and with more time together the two can develop the chemistry necessary to find success in the NBA and in a deep Western Conference.

One player working hard at being better on the court next season is DeMarcus Cousins who just competed in the NBA Africa game.

Cousins, who looked slimmed down, talked to ESPN’s Marc J. Spears about his health as he prepares to enter the 2016-2017 regular season.
