LA Angels Andrelton Simmons switches cleats and joins LAFC

If anyone knows about having quick feet, it’s soccer players and Andrelton Simmons.

Simmons, a 3x gold glove winning shortstop for the Los Angeles Angels, spent his day off checking out LAFC’s new training facility and meeting the team.

While Simmons played some soccer growing up, it’s safe to assume he won’t be trading his baseball cleats for soccer boots any time soon.

LAFC hosts its first-ever home game at the Banc of California Stadium vs. the Seattle Sounders Sunday at 6:00p.
