Slingin’ Sammy is off to the next level.
USC QB Sam Darnold declared for the NFL Draft on Wednesday, the same day as UCLA QB Josh Rosen did the same.
Darnold announced via Instagram.
In 27 games (20-4 mark as starting quarterback), the redshirt sophomore passed for 7,229 yards and 57 touchdowns, along with, 322 yards rushing and 7 scores. Darnold led the Trojans to a Pac-12 Championship in 2017.
