– 100% yes. And I am 100% OK with it because there is a hierarchy in the NFL, and you earn the respect of the League, of your opponents, of your teammates, and Tom Brady has clearly earned the right to act any way he wants to, really. I mean, he is in a stratosphere that nobody else is even considered.
And I think this is part of a growth process for Odell Beckham Jr. He’s still learning what he can and can’t get away with, and it’s been a ugly process so far for Odell, has struggled with how to handle himself, how to act like a professional. I don’t think anybody would get upset with Odell Beckham if he’s animated, upset, throwing stuff because his team is losing, because he wants to win.
There’s nothing wrong with that. He’ll never get criticized for that. But when you start getting penalties, getting ejected, preventing your team from winning, that’s when you become a distraction and start taking the serious heat.
