Down in Dallas, the Cowboys opened The Star to the Houston Texans to practice in in order to prepare for this Thursday’s game. Also, the game between the Cowboys and Texans would be moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Yesterday, after the news of the game between the Texans and Cowboys had been moved, both teams announced that the game tickets would be $25 and all proceeds will be going to helping the citizens in Houston.

Then, on the eve of the preseason finale, the National Football League has made a huge announcement about the game. Commissioner of the NFL Rodger Goodell announced that the game scheduled to take place tomorrow at AT&T Stadium has been canceled. Here is what the Texans had to say about the cancellation:

“The Houston Texans have made the decision to travel back to Houston after local authorities have now found a safe route for the team to drive home today. The fourth preseason game scheduled for Thursday night in Dallas will be cancelled. At this time, the priority of our organization is getting our players, coaches and staff back home to be reunited with their families, many of whom have been evacuated from their homes and are currently sheltered. The team feels it is imperative to get back home to help the Houston community recover from devastation of Hurricane Harvey.”

Even though there is no game tomorrow, The Cowboys are looking to help the City of Houston in relief.
