Bethune-Cookman’s 2018 schedule includes three classics

(STATS) – Bethune-Cookman will play in three classics as part of coach Terry Sims’ fourth season this year.

The Wildcats tied for second in the MEAC while finishing 7-4 last season. They’ll open the new season by facing Tennessee State on Sept. 1 in the Tigers’ annual John Merritt Classic at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Bethune won 12-9 when the two teams squared off in the 2013 Merritt Classic.

The Wildcats also will travel to Indianapolis on Sept. 22 to open their MEAC schedule against Howard in the Circle City Classic at Lucas Oil Stadium.

To conclude their 11-game regular season, the Wildcats will face rival Florida A&M on Nov. 17 in their annual Florida Classic at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
